Champagne Vinaigrette Italian Salad


  • 1 ½ Tbsp. good olive oil
  • 1 ½ small French bread, cut into 1 inch torn pieces
  • 1 ½ large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, halved and sliced
  • ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup olives
  • 1 Tbsp. capers, drained (optional)
  • Shirlie Jayne’s Champagne Vinaigrette
  • 4 tsp. divided Shirlie Jayne’s Savory Everyday Seasoning

How to Prepare

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the bread and 2 tsp. Shirlie Jayne’s Savory Everyday Seasoning.
  2. Cook over medium heat tossing frequently, until browned for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, olives, and capers (optional).
  4. Toss with Shirlie Jayne’s Champagne Vinaigrette and Shirlie Jayne’s Savory Everyday Seasoning.
  5. Top with handmade croutons.
