Fresh Romaine, Blue Cheese and Olive Salad

Full flavor of blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, black olives and red onions is the trademark of this popular salad. Serve with Shirlie Jayne's Blue Cheese Dressing.


  • 6 Cups Fresh Romaine Lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
  • 1 Pint Cherry of Grape Tomatoes
  • 2 Cumbers, peeled and chopped
  • 1 Small Red Onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 Cup Blue Cheese, crumbled
  • ½ Cup Black Olives, sliced
  • Shirlie Jayne's Blue Cheese Dressing
  • Optional:  Can add chopped cooked bacon

How to Prepare

  1. Place a small mound of Romaine on 4 to 6 salad plates.
  2. Arrange the tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, blue cheese and black olives on top.
  3. Optional: Can add chopped cooked bacon.
  4. Serve with Blue Cheese Dressing.
